EVV Alternative Device Phase-Out Schedule for Public Comment ? Due by May 15

To improve the accuracy and integrity of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) will be phasing out the use of alternative devices as an approved method to clock in and clock out of the EVV system.

HHSC encourages program providers, financial management services agencies (FMSAs), Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers, members who receive EVV required services and other interested parties to submit comments on the proposed phase-out of alternative devices.
