Infants

Children
(WIC)

improves
child
health
and
pregnancy
outcomes.

learning
reduces
child
poverty
and
helps
caregivers
return
to
work
—
but
in
most
of
the
U.S.,
it
costs
more
than
in-state
college
tuition.

Federal
subsidies
make
child
care
more
affordable
—
but
only
15%
of
eligible
families
have
access
to
them.
