Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.
Sorry for reaching out again, John – I’m just hoping for a quick favor.
Congress is starting to build next year’s budget, which means funding for critical child programs is on the line again.
My message below lays it all out… long story short, families NEED this support to afford nutritious food and high-quality child care.
Lawmakers are discussing these programs right now. Will sign our petition before they make decisions? [[link removed]]

Right now, Congress is discussing the funding of critical child programs. Remind them: Kids’ futures should always come first. [[link removed]]

Advocacy works John.
Remember pushing Congress to fund child programs in 2024? Your voice secured HUGE wins for kids across the nation, like full funding for WIC and a $1 billion increase for early childhood education!
Believe it or not, lawmakers are already building next year’s budget — and we have to show up with the same passion.
Will you add your voice so more children get a strong start in life? Every message truly makes a difference. [[link removed]]
John, the need for support just keeps growing. That’s why we’re fighting for more funding in 2025:
*
Next
year,
7
million
moms
and
kids
will
rely
on
the
Special
Supplemental
Nutrition
Program
for
Women,
Infants
and
Children
(WIC)

which
improves
child
health
and
pregnancy
outcomes.
*
Early
learning
reduces
child
poverty
and
helps
caregivers
return
to
work

but
in
most
of
the
U.S.,
it
costs
more
than
in-state
college
tuition.

*
Federal
subsidies
make
child
care
more
affordable

but
only
15%
of
eligible
families
have
access
to
them.
If we don’t continue to fund this essential support, countless kids will miss out in 2025. Please, tell Congress to prioritize child programs in next year’s budget! [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
