Phew, what a month so far - we’ve been to Roanoke, we’ve hosted debates, we’ve put our dancing shoes on for Blue Victory - how are you hanging in there? I’ve been napping a lot.
I think we should hang out and catch up - what better chance than our Earth Day Happy Hour later tonight? [[link removed][]%7D] Tonight at 7:00 PM we’ll be at Highline RxR chatting about taking care of our community and our planet.

As you likely heard, this month, Freddie’s Beach Bar (along with the home of Freddie Lutz, the proprietor) was targeted by bomb threats [[link removed]] before their “Family Fun Storytime Brunch” event. While fortunately nobody was hurt, it was deeply saddening to see this kind of cowardly hateful display attempting to silence and intimidate the LGBTQIA+ community here in Arlington. Their next family friendly event is May 4th featuring Tara Hoot and the theme is Lovefest [[link removed]] - so bring the whole family, dress in your best 🌸☮️flower-power☮️🌸 hippie apparel, and join us as we show support for this mainstay institution in Arlington and to all our LGBTQIA+ neighbors.

Arlington Democrats School Board Endorsement Vote
This year, there will be two open seats for the Arlington County School Board.
The Arlington Democrats will hold a vote of Democratic community members to endorse two candidates for the November General Election ballot. This endorsement vote process is in lieu of a primary because School Board candidates are not listed by Party on the ballot in Arlington.
There are four candidates campaigning for the party’s endorsement this year. Arlington Democrats will tally the winners of the endorsement vote by Ranked Choice Voting.
