Congress passed additional unconditional military aid for Netanyahu, but more Democrats are joining the Squad and standing up for human rights.

Justice Democrats

John,

Last Saturday, Congress rapidly agreed to send billions more of unconditional military aid to Israel as the genocide against innocent people in Gaza and the threat of a wider regional war continue.

It’s shameful that any member of Congress would vote to send an additional $26 billion in weapons and bombs to right-wing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after his military has killed at least 34,000 Palestinians, including journalists, doctors, and aid workers while destroying homes, hospitals, universities, and entire communities.

37 Democrats voted against it, including every member of the Squad.

While that doesn’t seem like a lot, more Democrats are standing on the right side of history and saying no to sending more resources to a right-wing government that is carrying out genocide and escalating violence.

This is a massive rebuke to AIPAC's power and influence in the Democratic Party.

Your contributions, petition signatures, and calls for a permanent ceasefire and lasting peace directly contributed to this — but we clearly still have more work to do.

Today, we’re just one week away from our April 30th fundraising deadline to raise $100,000 for the five most vulnerable Squad members facing competitive re-election races this year.

Help us protect some of the only unwavering pro-peace voices in Congress as they’re attacked by AIPAC and other GOP-funded groups: split a donation between Justice Democrats, Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, Summer Lee, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib today →

Any amount you can give to help us reach our Protect the Squad campaign goal before midnight next Tuesday is incredibly appreciated.

Let’s come together to re-elect our progressive champions in Congress and keep up our collective movement for peace and justice for all.

In solidarity,
