Gun safety Democrats in the Colorado State House just PASSED a bill to ban assault weapons for the first time in HISTORY.

So now, it’s headed to the state Senate for a vote.

If passed, Colorado will become the 11th state to BAN assault weapons.


But CBS just revealed that gun lobby Republicans – and even some complacent Democrats – could STRIKE the assault weapons ban down in the State Senate.


Even after assault weapons caused IRREPARABLE damage to Colorado’s communities for DECADES – Republicans in the state don’t want to give up these weapons of war and even some Democrats are considering keeping assault weapons legal. It’s disgusting. And we’ll do EVERYTHING in our power to kick every single legislator who stands in the way of banning assault weapons out of office for good. That’s where you come in – we’re rallying 1,500 grassroots gun safety advocates before midnight to show our gun safety Democrats in Colorado we have their back and PROVE to the naysayers that Americans OVERWHELMING support a ban on assault weapons.
