Good morning John,
EBYD is excited to announce our endorsement of Rubén Hernández Story for Berkeley City Council District 4! Rubén will fight to address the housing supply and affordability crisis and protect renters, advance the city’s climate action goals and make our streets safer for all road users, revitalize Downtown, and strengthen community policing.

Berkeley Citizens for Safe Streets
If approved by the voters, the measure will authorize a 14-year special parcel tax for the purpose of funding repairs and improvements to streets, sidewalks, and pedestrian paths!
The measure will also require the city to maintain its current repaving budget commitment. This will bring total street and sidewalk funding up to an estimated $480 million.
