DMV Mobilization Meeting with Rev Barber.  Next Monday, April 29th at 6 PM, (location TBD) two months before what will surely be an historic march and mass assembly, Rev. Dr. William J Barber, II and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, Co-Chairs of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival invite you to attend a mobilization meeting to launch the DMV organizing and mobilizing towards the Moral March on Washington!  Sign up now!

 

Poor Peoples Campaign activists from DC, Maryland and Virginia will come together to get organized for June 29th Assembly and Moral March.

  • Learn more about the Mass Assembly and March that will take place on June 29th here in DC.
  • Meet partners from around the DC area and help plan for our biggest turnout yet.on June 29th.
  • Learn how you can participate in the Poor People's Campaign's GOTV efforts between now and November.

Press Conference livestream. Reverend Barber will announce the June 29th march and assembly at a press conference in the morning before he joins us at the mobilization meeting in the evening. Reminder: April DC Poor People's Campaign Meeting on Thursday. Our next monthly meeting (by Zoom) is this Thursday April 25th at 7:00 pm. We'll present our current plans for April, May and June including more information about the DMV Mobilization meeting on Monday the 29th.

Together, we can plan for a powerful and historic mobilization that wakes the sleeping giant of poor and low-income people in DC and across the DMV.
