Dear NRDC Action Fund
Activist,

Robert Kennedy, Jr. is not the environmental candidate in
the upcoming election — and his candidacy strengthens the
possibility of Donald Trump winning a second term.

His anti-science conspiracy theories, refusal to support
critical key climate actions, and a willingness to surround
himself with climate deniers and Trump supporters represent a
threat to climate action at this key juncture in the effort to
avert the worst impacts of the crisis.

The only true environmental candidate running for president
in November is Joe Biden. Kennedy's spoiler candidacy will only
help Trump get elected, who stands on a record making him the
worst president in history on the environment.

That's the message of a powerful community of RFK, Jr.'s
former environmental colleagues, who released a public letter on
Earth Day calling on him to drop out of the presidential race.

And we at the NRDC Action Fund are asking you to join with
them.

RFK, Jr. was a staff attorney at NRDC — and the man running
for president today is unrecognizable to his former colleagues
who are expressing concerns both about his anti-science positions
and the potential that his candidacy could help elect Donald
Trump.

The alumni could not just stand by and watch. The threat is
too big and the stakes are too high.

So we're asking NRDC Action Fund supporters like you to

Joe Biden is the real candidate looking out for the
environment in this election. He has taken more climate action
than any president in American history: The 2022 climate law
signed by President Biden, the Inflation Reduction Act, is the
biggest federal climate investment in U.S. history, and is
already cutting climate emissions.

And just days ago, the Biden administration granted maximum
protection to 13 million acres in Alaska's pristine Arctic
Reserve, putting people, our climate, and the preservation of our
planet over oil industry profits.

If RFK, Jr. is really serious about protecting the planet
at this key moment in the effort to stave off the worst impacts
of climate change, he cannot open the door to another Trump
administration.
