President Obama called out Donald Trump last week for taking advantage of the crisis to gut fuel economy standards. The Los Angeles Times described the move as “a victory [for] the oil and gas industry” and “among the biggest steps the administration has taken to reverse an existing environmental policy.”
 
Obama warned that “we can’t afford any more consequences of climate denial” and rallied Americans to demand better by voting this fall.
 
But POLITICO is reporting that Joe Biden’s national lead over Trump is down to just 2 points -- “well within the survey’s margin of error.” And in key swing states like Florida and Wisconsin, the numbers are even closer. 
 
Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight’s average of polls shows that nearly 46% voters still support Donald Trump. We need to see if these numbers are true. Tell us where you stand:
