Here’s some breaking news: House Democrats stepped up and passed Ukrainian Aid.
Gerry has been a leader in the fight for Ukrainian aid. Sadly, a majority of Republicans voted to abandon our brave Ukrainian friends to the depraved, thuggish dictator Vladimir Putin. For months, the Republican majority fiddled while Ukraine burned. That’s just one of many reasons we need to flip the House blue.

This is a huge win for democracy, but it shouldn’t have taken months to pass this foreign aid. As Gerry said on the House floor before the vote, today our country rededicated itself to the principles of freedom, self-determination, and democracy.
Democrats did the right thing and bailed Johnson out, but what happens next time he decides to ignore the will of the majority of the House and give in to the extreme MAGA wing in his party? Or they successfully oust him and we end up with an even more extremist Speaker?
