John,
Last Thursday, Boebert’s main MAGA buddy in the House, Rep. Matt Gaetz, told reporters that he thinks she would do a better job as Speaker of the House than Mike Johnson.
You may recall that Marjorie Taylor Greene recently put forward a motion to oust Speaker Johnson because he reached across the aisle to secure funding for Ukraine and keep the government open. Apparently even NEGOTIATING with Democrats means that he’s not extreme enough to lead House Republicans.
When asked about the job that Speaker Johnson is doing, Gaetz quipped, “I don't know. Ms. Boebert could do better.”
Well, Matt Gaetz may think Boebert can do better than Johnson. I KNOW Colorado can do better than Boebert, and that’s what I’m working toward every day.
We’re now just 8 days from the end of the month, and my finance team tells me we need to pick up the pace to get our ads on TV and build more outreach capacity for the Spring.
So many of you have stepped up in the last few days, and we’ve had a major uptick, which I really appreciate.
If you’ve not had a chance to give yet, or if you have and you can spare a bit more, can I count on you this evening for a donation of $27, our average online contribution?
I don’t know how serious Gaetz is about having someone like Boebert as Speaker, but I’m serious about defeating Boebert in November – and our campaign is the only one polling 7 points ahead of her.
Boebert proves every day that she’s inept and shouldn’t even be in Congress, much less two heartbeats away from the Oval Office.
Help me flip this seat and send Boebert packing in November!
