It’s uncomfortable and won’t ever be convenient, but it’s the cold, hard truth → Climate change is actively destroying the planet, John.
The Arctic is melting. Fossil fuel emissions are trapped in our atmosphere. Wildlife is dying out which means our ecosystems that rely on biodiversity are failing. Our oceans and landfills are consumed by plastic pollution.
The damage has already been done. Fortunately, there’s still time to mitigate and lessen the impacts of the climate crisis. But only if we commit to bold and comprehensive action.
Inaction at the federal level is partially to blame for why the climate crisis has gotten as bad as it is — perpetuated by right-wing conspiracists and climate deniers for decades. That’s not only terrifying but devastating for our kids and future generations to come.
