Friend,
Happy Earth Day!
It’s a beautiful day to enjoy the incredible outdoor spaces in Colorado — and to continue our work to protect public lands.
From working to designate Camp Hale as a national monument to establishing Camp Amache as our newest national park, Michael is committed to protecting treasured landscapes for the next generation. The Camp Hale monument alone protects more than 50,000 acres of public lands for future generations to enjoy.
Michael continues his fight to pass the CORE Act, a bill that would protect almost 400,000 additional acres and across Colorado.
In writing this bill, Michael brought together a coalition of public officials, conservationists, sportsmen, wildlife advocates, and more. The result is a bill that will create new areas for outdoor recreation, protect stunning landscapes, and strengthen our economy — a win-win for everyone.
