Happy Earth Day, friends!

As the parent of three young kids, I can’t think of a more important or pressing issue to tackle than climate change. As I often note in talking about this issue, if you have someone you love who will be alive in 2050 or 2075, you owe it to them to act now with urgency. The science is clear: we need to take aggressive action now, and the longer we wait, the more terrifying the consequences. 

In the California State Senate, protecting our planet is a central part of my work and I’ve been proud to push forward a variety of bills that continue to position California as a leader and innovator in the movement toward a more sustainable future. 

Now, I’m running for Congress to fight for our planet and future generations. 

I hope to bring to bear at the federal level many of the changes that we’re leading here in California. We can solve the climate crisis, but we must act asap.
