From the beginning, I made it clear that this campaign and my work in Congress is of the people and for the people of NY19.

As your representative in Congress, I'm all about being there for you and fighting for what matters to our community. Pushing for the policies and issues we care about, to make a real difference.

Thanks for your trust and support—I'm committed to keeping up the good fight for all of us.
This weekend I voted to pass an essential bipartisan foreign aid package.

We are facing unprecedented threats across the globe. All of which directly impacts us here in Upstate NY, especially our Ukrainian, Jewish, and Israeli-American communities.

This historic, bipartisan deal responds to the need for American leadership abroad advancing freedom and democracy and protecting our interests.
I joined a bipartisan group in calling on President Biden to immediately address the situation at our southern border.

Securing the border is not a left or right issue. Our cities and communities are being put at risk. The situation is dire. And for what? The chaos of an open border isn't good for the migrants either.

The statistics are alarming and tragic. New York 19 has become the epicenter of the opioid crisis with Broome, Greene, and Sullivan counties having some of the highest overdose rates in NYS.

There is a direct connection between open borders, cashless bail and the opioid epidemic. This is the public health crisis of our lifetime and demands emergency action.

President Biden must secure the border.

Governor Hochul must declare a public emergency.

“Catch and Release” at the border is the same as cashless bail in NY: it undermines law enforcement, emboldens criminals and fuels the opioid crisis.

I was proud to vote for - and was pleased to announce - vital funding that helps to provide more opportunity for children in low-income families. Early assistance in education, health and nutrition can play a key role in their future success.

The Daily Star was correct when they said  "when we invest in our children, we’re investing in a brighter, more prosperous future for us all."

In Our Opinion: Early childhood education is a worthy investment
