Hello, it’s Earth Day today.

Today is an opportunity for us all to recommit to our duty to protect our planet, especially as we prepare for the election season ahead.

Every day, I am in Congress working to move forward legislation to protect our environment. Whether it’s leading the Great Lakes Task Force or finding solutions to PFAS “forever” chemicals that are contaminating everyday products and water, I take my role as an environmental leader seriously. 

We must vote with our environment in mind this fall because we are running out of time to act. Climate change is real, and it’s impacting our daily lives more than ever before. The truth is that many candidates on the ballot either deny that climate change exists or refuse to support legislation that protects our environment. Thankfully, there are countless leaders like myself who will be on the ballot this year who are working to pass legislation that protects our planet.

We each hold the power to elect leaders to local, state, and federal offices who are fighting to protect our climate. Will you stand by me today and take the pledge that this election season, you will be voting for the planet? Add your name here.
