Please join us in congratulating Administrative Law Judge Barbara J. Case on her upcoming retirement. After an impactful career in public service, Judge Case will retire on June 3, 2024. Judge Case will remain with OAH as a part-time judge on a contract basis.
Judge Case became an Administrative Law Judge at OAH in 2013. Before joining OAH, she dedicated her career to helping children with disabilities and their families. She served as Director of Compliance at the Minnesota Department of Education, and practiced as an attorney at Mid-Minnesota Legal Services - first at St. Cloud Legal Services and then at Minnesota Disability Law Center - where she represented families of children with disabilities.
Judge Case is grateful to many colleagues throughout her career, including those at Legal Services whose legal skills are surpassed only by their caring and humor, and all those on every side of the bench at OAH whom she has had the privilege to learn from and serve.
We are grateful to Judge Case for her career years of public service to OAH and the State of Minnesota.
