Several of my colleagues in Congress are proposing a plan to ban abortion nationwide and criminalize IVF. Not just a handful of representatives on the fringes of their party, but a majority of the representatives who serve in the Republican conference.

This race, right here in KS-03, is going to help determine who controls the House of Representatives next year. If I have the honor of continuing to represent our community, you can count on me to vote in favor of abortion access and IVF access in all 50 states. Period.

But if we lose, national Republicans will gain another crucial vote for their agenda to take away our rights — which is precisely why they’ve named me a top target for defeat this November.
