I’m really proud of this one, folks. When I got to Washington in 2023, I knew I had to hit the ground running.

The GOP majority hasn’t made it easy, but that hasn’t stopped me from good, bipartisan policies that help to support the everyday families of Central and Southern Illinois.

I introduced my FIRST piece of legislation in March of 2023 — the LEAP Act which helps to invest in apprenticeship programs that support small businesses and job creation across the country.

I couldn’t get it done alone, especially not with Democrats in the minority, so I worked hard to get 15 co-sponsors from both parties to help get this critical legislation over the hill.
