There is perhaps no place in America where the climate crisis is a more clear and present danger than here in Arizona.

John,

If you’ve been a part of my campaign since the beginning, you know the climate crisis is one of the main reasons I’m running for Congress. Not just on Earth Day, but every day. For me, fighting the climate crisis aren’t the words of a campaign. It’s been the work of my life. I hope you’ll let me explain, but if you believe we need to send a proven climate warrior to Congress, please make a contribution to my campaign today →

I began my career working in the White House for then-Vice President Al Gore to sound the alarm on the climate crisis. Seeing Gore wage a courageous and sometimes lonely struggle for action on the climate crisis taught me to never back down from what’s right when there’s a need for real change.

I spent a decade starting and leading an environmentally-focused alternative to the Big Banks that put climate change fighting power into people's hands. We helped millions of Americans move billions of dollars of their savings deposits and personal investments out of the reach of Big Oil companies and into accounts that were fossil fuel-free. And we funded the planting of over one hundred million trees around the world to suck carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.

This isn’t some abstract or global issue for us here in Arizona. We’re facing the climate crisis right here and right now. Wildfires, drought, and deadly heat waves have become all too common.

There is no place in America where the climate crisis is a more clear and present danger than in Arizona. But Arizona should also be the “Solar State.” We can be to clean energy jobs what Detroit is to cars and Silicon Valley is to computers.

With the right leadership and vision in Washington, combating the climate crisis can be an enormous source of economic opportunity for Arizona. But I need your help to get there.

That’s why I’m asking: Will you make a contribution to help me take my fight for a sustainable climate to Congress?

But it won't happen without new leadership. My opponent, David Schweikert, calls climate change "folklore," says “the green mafia basically owns the Democrat Party,” and voted against the bipartisan CHIPS Act.

In honor of Earth Day, will you make a contribution to help me defeat climate-denying David Schweikert?
