In Case You Missed It – This Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific, Congressman Scott Peters, a card-carrying New Liberal, will be joining us for a Twitch livestream to discuss the work he’s doing to advance permitting reform and pro-housing policies in Congress. 

Scott Peters represents California’s 50th Congressional District and has been a good friend of the Center for New Liberalism. He is also one of our favorite Congressional leaders in large part because he is also the Chair of the Climate Task Force, New Democrat Coalition, Chair of the Climate Task Force, Sustainable Energy and Environment Caucus, Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus Member, Energy and Commerce Committee Member, and House Committee on the Budget Member.
