‌‌John,

As we celebrate Earth Day, I am reminded that we are all responsible for safeguarding our environment for future generations. It's a time to reflect on the beauty and fragility of our planet and to recommit ourselves to the vital work of preserving it.

Here in Delaware, we are surrounded by natural treasures—from our lush forests to our picturesque coastal ecosystems and the majestic Chesapeake Bay watershed. These landscapes are not just part of our heritage; they are the lifeblood of our communities.

Yet, as we celebrate the wonders of our natural world, we cannot ignore the looming threat of climate change. It is one of the greatest challenges of our time, with far-reaching consequences for our environment, our economy, and our way of life. We must take bold action to address this crisis head-on.

I am proud to stand at the forefront of efforts to combat climate change and protect our environment. As Founder and Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus, I’ve made it my mission to bring both parties to the table to find real solutions to our most pressing climate issues. From curbing emissions and promoting clean energy innovation to ensuring access to clean drinking water, I am dedicated to championing policies that will preserve our planet for generations to come.

Unlike some who deny the reality of climate change, I firmly believe that it is our sacred duty as elected officials to confront this challenge with resolve and determination. We cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the pressing issues facing our planet.

If you share my commitment to protecting our Earth and believe that we must continue to take decisive action to address climate change, I urge you to join me in signing this petition >> [link removed]

Let's send a powerful message that the preservation of our planet is not just a priority—it's a necessity.

Thank you,

Chris
