President Biden’s Administration has set ambitious goals for our country as we continue to tackle the climate crisis. These goals include reducing U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 50-52% below 2005 levels by 2030 and achieving a net-zero emission economy by 2050. While the country works toward these goals, public transportation plays an important part in supporting a cleaner, healthier environment by aiding in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and utilizing low- and zero-emission technologies.

From lowering our national gas consumption to spearheading the development of electric and hybrid mobility fleets, public transportation is leading the way to a more sustainable planet.
