Hi, it’s Andrew Horne, candidate for Congress in AZ-01.

I wanted to share some big news with you: I was recognized as a 2024 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. That means we’re getting national recognition as the gun-safety campaign for AZ-01.

Just last month, I dedicated time to be at the State Capitol working with lawmakers for a Safer Arizona, because this issue is personal for me— and an issue that has been too long ignored by our current representative, David Schweikert.

The people of Arizona deserve a leader who will fight for their best interests, not the best interests of their special interest backers.

That’s what I’m running to do, but I need your help now that this distinction is officially announced. Will you sign my petition by midnight tomorrow to take a stand for common sense gun reform? [[link removed]][link removed] [[link removed]]

The solution to this crisis is not more guns. More guns will not protect my 9-year-old daughter when there is a shooting at the mall, park, or her elementary school classroom.

Here’s the truth: My opponent has never and will never support common sense gun legislation, despite the millions of people who have died in our lifetimes due to gun violence and the constant traumatic stress on all of us.

With your help we can enact common sense solutions and protect kids and families from the tragedy of gun violence. I am committed to protecting my district and this country from the senselessness of gun violence.

Thank you,

Dr. Horne
