Hello,

Blue sky. Green grass. Clean water. Fresh air. Warm sunlight.

Today, on Earth Day, I’m thinking about all the simple joys that our planet offers us. And how every living being—human and non-human—deserves to enjoy them.

You and I both know that industrial animal agriculture is destroying these gifts for its own profit. Millions of animals are trapped in filthy, crowded feedlots and tiny cages that never see the sun. More than one third of the planet’s habitable land is used to raise, feed, and slaughter animals for food—polluting air and water in the process. In the Amazon, deforestation caused by beef production threatens to transform a lush rainforest into a barren grassland. 

This is our present. 
But it doesn’t have to be our future.

Thanks to advocates like you, I can envision a different future.

A future where no animal suffers in a tiny cage. A future with no more factory farms. A future with no more slaughterhouses. Industrial animal agriculture is a scourge on our planet—but every day, you’re proving that a more beautiful future is possible.
