We support ballot measures in states like Arizona and Nevada to enshrine the right to abortion in those states' constitutions, meaning that no matter who controls the legislature, our fundamental rights are protected. In Arizona, this ballot measure will be crucial for restoring the rights that were stripped away by the Arizona Supreme Court earlier this month when they reinstated a total ban on abortion from 1864. But ballot measures like these take a ton of resources: we need to gather enough signatures to get the measure on the ballot, be prepared to fight in the courts against anti-abortion extremists who try to muddle up the language of the ballot measure to confuse voters, and then educate voters about the measure and make sure they get out and vote for it.

We also support candidates all over the country, from California to Michigan to North Carolina to Wisconsin, and at every level of government, from the state house to the White House. We know that we need reproductive freedom champions in office in order to pass proactive legislation to protect our reproductive freedom and fight back against attacks on our rights.

We invest in states across the country, like Michigan and Georgia, year over year (not just in presidential election years) to build long-term grassroots and political power.

AND we conduct in-depth polling on reproductive freedom issues, track and counter disinformation, make sure the press is covering abortion and reproductive rights, and raise public awareness of the issues we fight for.

It's a lot of work! But every single piece of it is crucial to build the political reality we need to achieve our goal of reproductive freedom for everybody.
