The Primary Election is NEXT TUESDAY, April 30th -- we have just 8 days! This will narrow down the 6 candidates to the top 2 who will then go onto the Special Election.
  • Early Voting is OPEN NOW to Monday, April 29th at your local City Hall Monday through Friday 8AM to 4:30PM. More details can be found HERE.
  • Primary Day, April 30th and Special Election Day, May 14th polling locations can be found HERE. 
  
It's #GOTV TIME(Get Out the Vote)! Please join us on the Primary Election Day, April 30th anytime between 4pm to 8pm to phone bank at The Marsh! We need your help - this will be a low voter turnout election and every call, text or door we know will count!

In the Community: 

This past weekend it was great to attend several conventions and talk to to Eden Prairie, Minnetonka and Edina community members. I was also able to stop by an Earth Day celebration in Edina to speak about the importance of clean energy and protecting our environment. The wrap up of the weekend was an Isaiah event Sunday afternoon in Minnetonka where all 6 candidates running for the Hennepin County Commissioner open seat discussed important issues like housing, climate action, investing in youth. 


This election will be won by those that turn out to vote. Let's ensure we elect an experienced, pragmatic leader to this vital position in our County government. Together, we can do great things!

The District 6 Hennepin County Commissioner represents the areas of Edina, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Woodland, Long Lake, Orono, Deephaven, Greenwood, Excelsior, Shorewood, Tonka Bay, Minnetonka Beach, Spring Park, Mound and northern Eden Prairie.
