It’s Earth Day! Your impact doubled for birds—but only until midnight. ([link removed])

As we celebrate Earth Day today, we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come and how far we still must go to protect birds and the places they need from the impacts of climate change. Thanks to the support of bird lovers like you, we have been able to make significant strides in bird conservation. But the climate crisis grows more dire day after day—with 70 species at a “Tipping Point.” Birds like the Rufous Hummingbird that have lost 50% or more of their populations in the past 50 years are projected to lose another half or more in the coming decades.

We have shown that where there’s action, there’s hope—and together, we are building a brighter future for birds. This Earth Day, we must recommit ourselves to this work: Will you start your annual donation before midnight while, thanks to a group of generous donors, your first gift will be matched, up to $75,000? Drawing on a century of expertise, we use a unique combination of research, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation to protect birds and the places they need throughout the Americas. Just last year, we helped secure more water for birds and people across the west, followed individual birds as they made their epic annual journeys across the hemisphere, secured important Lights Out wins in North Carolina and beyond, and celebrated a century of conservation work in Texas and New York.

The birds you cherish are at risk

Two-thirds of North American bird species face the risk of climate extinction.

70+ species of birds have lost half of their populations in the past 50 years.

None of this would be possible without supporters like you—people who care about birds and are ready to help protect them, today and tomorrow. Please don’t miss your opportunity to take advantage of this special Earth Day offer: Start your annual gift before midnight tonight while your first contribution will be matched, up to $75,000.
