Today, as we celebrate 🌎 Earth Day, let us reflect on the immense beauty of God's creation and the urgent
need for collective action to care for our planet and our human family.
"Our relationship with the environment can never be isolated from our relationship with others and with God."
-Pope Francis
At a critical time in the world where climate change, hunger, conflict and other challenges disproportionally
affect the most vulnerable members of our human family, our faith calls to act urgently_-_and CRS Chapters

CRS Chapters members across the U.S. are committed to putting their faith into action through advocacy,
community giving and prayer. By working together, CRS Chapters can catalyze transformative change that
positively impacts our common home and the lives of our sisters and brothers in need around the world.
Chapters usually start with a single person like you, who identifies other people interested in joining. You
have the opportunity to start small and dream big--to make a meaningful difference in your community and
beyond.
_Why YOU should consider starting a CRS Chapter:_
CRS Chapters receive trainings and advocate for policy changes that generate systemic solutions to alleviate
human suffering. With your advocacy efforts, you will amplify the voices of marginalized communities. _Your
voice matters in influencing the decisions of our elected officials._
You will meet and collaborate with other CRS Chapters, benefiting from the support and camaraderie of a
diverse community passionate about justice.
You will engage with your neighbors, both locally and globally, embodying Pope Francis' call for a "culture of
encounter."

_When we act together, there is no limit to the transformation we can achieve!_
