These are the most uncertain times that any of us have ever experienced. Worry and anxiety are everywhere right now.

At times like these, some certainty and hope can be invaluable and we have both found those in the Green Party in recent weeks.

Our MP, Caroline Lucas, delivered her message of hope in dark times last week and the outpouring of responses was summed up by one member who said: ‘Being a member of the Greens feels like helping a fairer world emerge’.

The Green Party has grown a huge amount in the time we have both been members, developing and adapting to the political and environmental challenges around us. But what hasn’t changed are our values.

We will always stand up for the most vulnerable in our society, for urgent action to prevent a climate crisis, for a Green New Deal that transforms our society so that it works for everyone, for proportional elections to decide fairly who runs our governments and for so much more.
