Look, we knew that in this race, we’d have to contend with deeply misleading ads attacking Sharice’s record — funded by a barrage of spending by extremist super PACs who know as well as we do that the path to the House majority runs through KS-03.

But frankly, we didn’t expect the attacks to start this early — and we didn’t budget for that scenario either. One group is already running deceptive digital ads targeting Sharice’s record, and it’s only April! We’re also hearing that negative TV ads could hit the airwaves any day, too.

Here’s the upshot for us: We need to adjust our budget so that we have the resources to fight back against these attack ads months earlier than most campaigns have to plan for. So we’ve raised our April grassroots fundraising goal by $15,000 to help us do exactly that.

I know it’s an annoying request, but will you pitch in today and help us reach that benchmark? If everyone reading this email contributes just a few dollars, we’ll put a HUGE dent in our goal — and put Sharice in a strong position to take on these well-funded, extremist super PACs.
