30 million American workers are subject to noncompete clauses, often
including hairstylists, warehouse workers, sanitation workers, fast food
workers, and more.
Studies show that noncompetess cost American workers up to $300 billion
dollars in wages every year.

Very soon, as part of the Biden Administration's pro-worker agenda, the
Federal Trade Commission will announce new rules to end the use of
noncompete clauses.
Republicans and their corporate allies have already announced plans to
block the changes in court the day the new rules are announced.
First-hand accounts from people who have been harmed by noncompete clauses
will help turn this into a big campaign issue in 2024.
