What may have seemed like a win for women’s rights was only just one of many steps in the long journey for anti-abortion activists whose mission is to end the right to bodily autonomy for all.

john,

One year ago today, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the abortion pill, Mifepristone, would continue to be widely available for women to use. This ruling struck down a state ruling in Texas that tried to ban the usage of the FDA approved drug for all women.

What may have seemed like a win for women’s rights was only just one of many steps in the long journey for anti-abortion activists whose mission is to end the right to bodily autonomy for all. It started with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and still continues today with another case against the abortion pill being argued again in the Supreme Court.

john, today and every day is a stark reminder that our right to bodily autonomy will always be in jeopardy when Republicans are in charge. That’s why the work we are doing to take back the majority has never been so important. If you agree that we need leaders in charge who will always protect the right to abortion, chip in $5 or whatever you can today. >>

As a doctor, Kim has always been an advocate for safe and effective reproductive care. And with Mifepristone being an FDA approved drug used safely for the past 20 years, she knows there’s absolutely no reason anyone would be advocating for its removal unless it's for their own personal or political gain. Our access to healthcare should never depend on someone’s political agenda.

Kim will never back down from a fight to enshrine our right to our own reproductive care – and we need more leaders like her who will always act in the best interests of the people, not themselves. But the partisan games won’t end until we kick every last anti-abortion Republican out of office.

Will you chip in $5, $10, or even $1 to ensure Democrats take back the majority and Kim remains in Congress to continue fighting for our reproductive rights? >>

In this fight together,

Schrier for Congress

Rep. Kim Schrier is a doctor, scientist, and mom, fighting for Washington's 8th District in Congress. This is one of the most competitive districts in the country, so we need your help to keep Kim in Congress. Chip in now to help protect Kim's seat this November and take back the House.
