I know you receive many messages from my campaign about how important our early campaign work is to winning another election. For competitive races like ours, we have to defend against intense outside pressure and investment. Since our election is in 2025, the national focus will be entirely on our race. National Republicans will want to hold onto Virginia's Governor’s seat to send a message, and they’ll pour millions of dollars into it to try to get it done.

We’ve seen it before in my competitive congressional races. They’ll put up countless attack ads online, on TV, and on billboards. They’ll mobilize their field forces to campaign against me and the good work I’ve done in Congress, as well as our vision for Virginia. And they’ll recruit prominent national figures, like Trump, to visit Virginia to support my eventual opponent.

We have a challenging road ahead, but one that I know will again lead to victory — because of the incredible community we have behind this campaign.
