Colorado Republicans are on a wild ride, and it seems they want to bring us all down with them.
FIRST: They nominated Greg Lopez as the Republican nominee for the special election in Colorado’s 4th District on June 25th.
Greg Lopez’s run-ins with the law are well-documented. He’s been cited in a domestic violence incident with his pregnant wife, settled a lawsuit that alleges he tried to influence the actions of the Small Business Administration, and is a notorious election denier.
That is who the Colorado Republican Party chose to represent CO-04 in Congress.
THEN: At the Colorado Republican Party State Assembly in Pueblo, they kicked out a news reporter from covering and reporting on their Assembly.
Why? The GOP chairman, Dave Williams, said he didn’t like the journalist’s reporting and even disparaged their appearance as a reason for kicking them out.
NOW: If that wasn’t enough, MAGA Republican Matt Gaetz introduced his fellow MAGA Republican Lauren Boebert at the GOP Assembly in Pueblo, saying, ‘This is Donald Trump’s party, and I am a Donald Trump Republican!’
You know, the truth is, we can’t even pretend to be shocked by what the Colorado Republican Party is doing.
They’ve shown us time and time again who they are. They are devoted to Donald Trump and bringing about chaos rather than results for Coloradans.
We’re enjoying the show, but we’re not getting sidetracked from the work we’re doing to organize earlier and compete in places we’ve never competed before. We’re helping Democrats win seats all over the place and we’re just getting started.
