John—every farmer worth their salt knows that even the best equipment is bound to break down.

When you’re in the middle of the season and something breaks, there’s no time to get to a mechanic—so you fix it yourself. That’s why I ran for office in the first place, because I didn’t see anyone in Congress fighting to fix the issues facing working families like mine.

I take every lesson from the farm with me to Washington, and I’m honored to defend our way of life in the Senate. I’m also proud of everything we’ve accomplished, like securing high-speed internet and investing in rural health care.

But my work here is far from over, John. I’m counting on your grassroots support so I can keep fixing the issues back home.
