David Trone for Senate

Happy 4/20, friends!

Can we be blunt? Today isn’t just about having fun – it’s about committing ourselves to full marijuana legalization, record expungement, and ending the racist War on Drugs.

David is the only candidate in the race with a policy plan to legalize marijuana. He’s spent more than two decades fighting for criminal justice reform and understands the damage that our nation’s broken drug laws have done.

Will you chip in $4.20 or more to help David keep up the fight to legalize the recreational use of cannabis?

Our society has moved from slavery to Jim Crow to mass incarceration, and the prohibition of marijuana has been used to imprison an unprecedented number of Black and Brown Americans.

David proudly supported the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act when it came to the House floor for a vote last session and as co-chair of the Second Chance Task Force in Congress, he has led on legislation – including the Fresh Start and Clean Slate Acts – to seal or expunge eligible arrest records and allow individuals who have served their time move forward in life.

In the Senate, David will lead the charge for advocating for the legalization and reclassification of cannabis as well as funding expungement programs that will reduce our prison population and give more people a second chance.

Can you chip in $4.20 or any amount to ensure Marylanders have a fighter for marijuana legalization in the Senate?
