Hello everyone,

I'm deeply honored to have had the privilege of serving in the U.S. Air Force, which was the most rewarding and challenging experience of my life. I have always been committed to serving others.

During my time serving in Congress, today stands out as one of the most significant moments for me: the opportunity to vote in defense of Americans and our allies.

In a world where missiles are flying and our adversaries seek to undermine democracy, it's crucial for the United States to set an example in upholding democratic values and safeguarding our freedoms.

Our national security must always be a priority over extreme partisan politics. Failing to do so puts our lives and the lives of our sons and daughters who wear military uniforms from eastern North Carolina and across the country at risk.

I'm not seeking campaign contributions. I only want to thank you for supporting my service to our country. May God bless the United States of America.
