No American should have to choose between exercising their right to vote and protecting their health. However, unless we implement a universal Vote by Mail option soon, millions of voters will be faced with this lose-lose scenario. 

That's why I'm demanding all 50 states provide voters with a Vote by Mail option.

It's contradictory to urge folks to social distance at home, while still expecting them to vote in crowded polling places. A universal Vote by Mail option is the most effective way to maintain democratic participation in this time of crisis.

Can I count on you to protect voters' safety and well-being by signing this Vote by Mail petition?



Mail-in elections are also associated with higher voter turn out! During the 2018 primary, states that enacted Vote by Mail saw a 15% higher median turnout than in-person voting states.

So, not only would a Vote by Mail option keep Americans safer during this health crisis, but it would also help democratic participation -- a WIN-WIN!
