John, this made my heart sink:

This is not a drill: 1 in 4 teachers say guns forced their schools into lockdown last year.

This is what it's like to be a teacher in America today. Gun violence is impacting all of us, and this stat puts a number to the gun epidemic teachers know all too well.

This is also why we work so hard at Teachers Unify. We’re uniting thousands of educators across the country to end gun violence in our schools, because we believe that time in the classroom should feel safe and be safe.

So, please John, will you donate $25 to our movement to make these headlines a thing of the past? >> ([link removed])

John, 1 in 4 teachers. 1 in 4!

To put that number in perspective, if we were grading this country’s work to keep school communities safe, that’s a C at best. I don’t teach my students to aim for Cs. I push them to work for A+s, and our country needs to do the same to protect teachers from gun violence.

Your donation today will fund our work empowering teachers to turn their anguish into action – which doesn’t just make for safer schools but makes for a healthier nation.

So please John, will you donate to Teachers Unify to help us bring teachers together to help end gun violence once and for all? >> ([link removed])
