Good Afternoon!

Thank you for being a steadfast supporter of the House GOP Battleground Fund, the tip of the spear for New York’s victory efforts.

As you know, this very important effort is led by House GOP Chairwoman and Upstate Congresswoman Elise Stefanik to protect the 'battleground' congressional seats in New York State.

We appreciate your continued support and wanted to share a few big updates for the week:

Chairwoman Stefanik Puts Columbia University’s Antisemitism on Blast

Last December, the world watched as Chairwoman Stefanik took on the presidents of so-called ‘Elite Universities’ Harvard, Penn, and MIT. No one would have expected it would be the hearing to go viral – but it did. No one thought it would be the most viewed congressional testimony in history – but it was, and it reached over a billion views across all platforms within a week. Lasty, Elise didn't expect it would be so difficult for these Ivy League presidents to answer ‘Yes’ on such a simple moral question.

Chairwoman Stefanik’s questioning of these universities shined a light on academic institutions as a whole – including the corrupt people who run them and the corrupt people who fund them.

On Tuesday, Chairwoman Stefanik penned a scathing op-ed in the New York Post about Columbia University’s lack of action regarding antisemitism on campus.

On Wednesday, Chairwoman Stefanik and her colleagues on the House Education and Workforce Committee held another hearing on antisemitism on college campuses, this time focusing on Columbia University. Columbia recently received a ‘D’ on the ADL’s Campus Antisemitism Report Card.

WATCH: Fox News Coverage of Elise at the Columbia University Antisemitism Hearing

Following the hearing, Elise released the following statement –

“Today's hearing of Columbia University president and board members epitomizes the failed leadership on "elite" college campuses to combat antisemitism and protect Jewish students. From the university president's moral equivocation on antisemitism, to glaringly inconsistent testimony regarding disciplinary action and lack thereof taken against antisemitic students and pro-terrorist faculty, to astonishingly stating that there has been no "anti-Jewish" protests on campus only to then acknowledge that "F-- the Jews" & "Death to the Jews" is in-fact anti-Jewish when she was further pressed.

Interestingly, during a break, the witnesses were overheard discussing how well they thought their testimony was going for Columbia. This arrogance is eerily reminiscent to the previous three university presidents who believed walking out of the hearing that their testimony was acceptable. Columbia is in for a reckoning of accountability.

If it takes a member of Congress to force a university president to fire a pro-terrorist, antisemitic faculty chair, then Columbia University leadership is failing Jewish students and its academic mission. No amount of over-lawyered, over-prepped, and over-consulted testimony is going to cover up for failure to act.”

Chairwoman Stefanik Honored in TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People

On Wednesday, TIME Magazine named Chairwoman Stefanik to the 2024 TIME100 Most Influential People list. TIME releases this list annually to highlight the most prominent figures of the year. Read Elise’s statement on the distinction –

“I’m honored to be featured in TIME’s 100 Most Influential People. Giving Upstate NY and the North Country a voice at the highest levels of government is the most humbling privilege of my career. I am committed to saving our great nation and will never stop fighting for YOU.”

The full list and related tributes will appear in the April 29, 2024, issue of TIME, available on newsstands now.

Describing Elise Stefanik, journalist Charlotte Alter wrote –

“Stefanik has become a leading force in the conservative push to investigate DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) and antisemitism on college campuses; her pointed questioning of university presidents at a congressional hearing contributed to the resignation of the president of the University of Pennsylvania, and kick-started a pressure campaign that resulted in the resignation of the president of Harvard University, her alma mater.”

NY-19 Spotlight: Marc Molinaro Pens Op-Ed

On Thursday, Congressman Marc Molinaro (NY-19) published an op-ed reflecting the frustrations of Upstate New Yorkers who feel overlooked, ignored, and cheated by radical Far Left policies. Read an excerpt of Marc’s op-ed –

“New York State now leads the nation in population loss because families can't make ends meet. Individuals dealing with mental health and substance use disorders face daunting journeys for quality treatment, and many in the disability community are unable to participate in the pursuit of happiness because of archaic barriers.”

New York Republicans Stand with Israel

This past weekend, the barrage of terror that Israel has been facing reached a new level; for the first time since the Iranian Revolution, Iran directly attacked the State of Israel. Iran’s attack on Israel utilized nearly 300 drones and missiles, the vast majority of which were shot down by Israel. World condemnation of Iran was swift and direct. GOP leaders were quick to voice their support of Israel and condemn the Biden administration for their failures in the Middle East:

Congresswoman Stefanik shared on X:

“Joe Biden’s catastrophic weakness on the world stage and his failure to support Israel, our most precious ally, emboldened Iran to launch a direct attack on Israel.

As soon as Joe Biden took office, he reversed President Trump’s Maximum Pressure Campaign on Iran and less than six months ago he allowed critical international sanctions on Iran’s missile and drone programs to expire, empowering Iran to launch this massive strike.

The United States must stand with Israel and offer our unwavering support”

Congressman Marc Molinaro shared on X:

“I’m praying for Israel. We need to be clear eyed in the face of this growing regional threat. Israel is our ally. Iran & Hamas are enemies. The United States has an imperative to stand with Israel, supporting its right to defend themselves and strike back.”

Alison Esposito (Candidate for NY-18 shared) on X:

“Now more than ever, our great ally, Israel, needs to know it has the full support of the United States.”

GOP Calls Out Sham NY Trial For Election Interference

This week, President Trump was in NYC to sit in for the witchhunt trial led by corrupt Democrats. This lawfare against President Trump is clear election interference! Chairwoman Stefanik and her NY  colleagues posted messages of support for President Trump as Democrats continue interfering in the election at Joe Biden’s bidding.

Chairwoman Stefanik said on X:

“BREAKING: Corrupt Judge Merchan, a Biden donor whose family member has profited off this case & who illegally gagged President Trump just said "If you do not show up, there will be an arrest." A 6-8 week show trial... Total election interference.”

Congresswoman Malliotakis said on X:

“Give me a break! Do you not see what is happening in your own state? In New York, EVERYONE from career criminals to repeat offenders to illegal immigrants are above the law. Donald Trump is the only one treated below the law & the world sees right through it.”

Mike LiPetri, Elise-endorsed candidate for New York’s 3rd District also posted support for President Trump on X, saying:

“DA Bragg refuses to prosecute real crimes every day in NYC, but now - in an Election Year - he brings this case against President Trump with a convicted perjurer as his star witness? That’s convenient 🤔🙄 Meanwhile - illegals, squatters, & knife-wielding mad men walk free…🤦‍♂️”

House Republicans are the 'last line of defense' in holding the Biden Administration accountable for their failures, and no one is fighting harder than the congressional delegation from New York.

In 2022, we elected FIVE new Republicans in battleground congressional seats. These gains secured the GOP House Majority last cycle – and we are responsible for protecting these seats in 2024.

We greatly appreciate your investment in our House GOP Battleground Fund. We are on the front lines of New York's grassroots and field efforts; this newsletter is our way to keep you posted on our efforts. We hope you continue to support this very critical effort.
