Dear John,

It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting
for our conservative values.

As you may be aware, I am working to expose the unjust prosecution of Trooper
Ryan Londregan by radical-Left Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty. Trooper
Londregan is currently facing charges for a July 2023 incident in which he
intervened to save his partner's life. Despite evidence and expert testimony
indicating that Trooper Londregan followed his training, he is facing
politically motivated charges brought by a partisan county attorney. This bogus
prosecution is part of the Left's inquisition against law enforcement officers
to appease their radical base. I will not tolerate political hacks who
weaponize the law to scapegoat our heroes. That is why I have stepped up my
efforts by formally requesting that the House Judiciary Committee investigate
this misconduct. We must ensure justice is served and support our law
enforcement officers, who are willing to risk their lives to keep us safe.

Senate Democrats' hypocrisy is infuriating. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer
announced plans to quickly dismiss the impeachment articles against Department
of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Worst of all, he doubled
down on his decision via X, claiming that impeachment should only be reserved
for 'high crimes and misdemeanors' rather than resolving 'policy
disagreements.' When I last checked, Democrats had no problem weaponizing
impeachment against President Trump. On two separate occasions, they rushed a
sham trial, although no crime was committed. It was solely motivated by a
baseless political vendetta against President Trump.

This week, I introduced the Stop Executive Overreach on Trade Agreements Act
(H.R. 7983), which will ensure that critical minerals required for
manufacturing and development are sourced domestically or from our existing
Free Trade Agreement partners. This legislation prohibits the Biden
administration from bypassing Congress in negotiating agreements that do not
reduce our dependence on China for critical minerals. By incentivizing mineral
mining and processing in the United States, we can save taxpayers money while
also providing good jobs and promoting American-made products. This bill is an
important step toward checking executive power and securing our supply chains.
I look forward to seeing it brought to the House floor for a vote.

As always, please contact my office if there is anything we can help with.
Thank you for your continued support!

With gratitude,
