That’s why Alexandria started Courage to Change, her leadership PAC to support people-first progressive candidates who fight tooth and nail for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.
Moving politics in the direction of the working class requires the working class.
And this November, there are hundreds of elections happening. The Left must win as many of them as possible to expand our strength in Congress and chart a path of policy transformation.
Progressives have exerted a lot of influence in the past few years, shaping legislation and expanding our grassroots movement by speaking truth to power.
Alexandria knows that it’s now time to assert our influence in larger institutions. That’s also why she just made her first ever contribution to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee — after the D.C.C.C. agreed to dedicate her dues entirely to the Voter Protection Program.
Democrats will now have the resources to protect every vote in every state to halt the immediate threat of fascism from the MAGA movement.
This is the first time in history that a candidate has specified that their dues be used for voter protection.
