Over 375 Deployed Service Members
Waiting to be Adopted
Attention Supporters! Our deployed Service Members urgently need your support! Currently, we have over 375 deployed Service Members eagerly awaiting to be "adopted" and receive morale-boosting care packages from home to uplift them during their deployments. These brave individuals are supporting combat or humanitarian missions, often in areas with limited access to supplies beyond what's available on base/on the ship. Your generosity can make a huge difference to those serving far from home.
What does it mean to "adopt" a Service Member?
After you register as an Angel volunteer, you can search our database for a Service Member wishing to be adopted. From there, you will support them with care packages and letters every month throughout their deployment.
Please remember, you may or may not hear back from the Service Member you support. Several factors, including the type of mission and location, affect communication during deployment. Don't be disappointed if you don't hear back immediately. Many Angels receive gratitude once the Service Member completes their deployment, and some even form lifelong friendships. April is Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the children of our Military members whose resilience and unwavering support enable their parents to serve our nation, safeguarding our country and children everywhere.
Since the beginning of April, Soldiers' Angels volunteers across the country have hosted and participated in events to honor and recognize our Military children during this special month.

Texas Girl Scouts: Operation Cookie
Our President and CEO, Amy Palmer, joined the Girl Scouts of Central Texas (GSCTX) for a heartwarming care package event in Austin last month. Together, they packed 675 care packages filled with Girl Scout Cookies, hygiene items, socks, and more. Each package included a handwritten note of thanks from a Girl Scout.
