Today, the House of Representatives is set to vote on a bill that would send over $26 billion of our tax dollars to Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu as he carries out the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

The atrocities being committed by the Israeli government are horrific and well-documented. All across Gaza, the medical system has been deliberately and intentionally destroyed. Doctors and journalists have found that Israeli snipers have been deliberately targeting children.

At least 14,000 children have already been slaughtered in the past 6 months. Their lives and futures have been stolen, with U.S. support. And another child is killed in Gaza every 10 minutes, according to UNICEF.

We must act now to save lives.

Our country isn’t just complicit in this genocide—we’re actively participating in it.

Every year our country spends billions of tax dollars, which help maintain Israel’s apartheid policies and support the continued ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Over many years, the U.S. has shielded Israel’s government from any accountability as it violates international laws. And this week, President Biden’s administration just vetoed a motion to grant Palestine full membership in the United Nations (UN), undermining their claims to support Palestinians’ self-determination.

Netanyahu continues to escalate the risk of a regional war by consistently violating international law. For the entire world’s sake, we must avoid this. For the sake of the children in Gaza and our future humanity, we must demand peace instead of endless war.
