Every election matters. But the 2020 election might be the most important one of our lifetimes. We need to elect Democratic leaders who will get us back on the path to progress and take action on pressing issues like climate change, health care and gun violence.

I'm not just talking about the White House -- flipping the Senate in 2020 will also be critical. And that means reelecting my friend Gary Peters in Michigan and electing Cal Cunningham in North Carolina. Will you split a donation between Gary, Cal and myself now?

If we don't help Gary and Cal win in November, we may lose our chance to take the Senate back from Mitch McConnell. That would mean at least two more years of stalled legislation and obstruction. We can't afford to let that happen.

Gary has been one of my closest partners in the Senate. We've worked together on legislation to strengthen cybersecurity for voting systems and local governments. He's a champion for affordable health care and a strong middle class.

Cal would be a great addition to the Senate. In the North Carolina legislature he fought for students and teachers and led on environmental protection and campaign finance reform.

I'm looking forward to working with both Gary and Cal to get things done in the Senate. But first they need your help. Will you split a donation between Cal, Gary and myself right away?
