This Week's Highlights

Monday

On Tax Day, WFW-endorsed candidate Leslie Lewallen (WA-03) pledged to be an honest steward of taxpayer dollars if elected to Congress.

Her liberal opponent, Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, is a tax-and-spend liberal who is out of touch with her conservative district.

Leslie is running to flip WA-03, and you can learn more about her here.

Tuesday

After the House passed important bipartisan legislation from Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-45), she released the following statement:

"There should be no sunset date to stopping funding for Iran-backed terrorism throughout the world. The Solidify Iran Sanctions Act does what it says – solidifies those sanctions – making them permanent. The people of Israel, American soldiers, and innocent people throughout the Middle East should not live in fear of the Iranian Regime and their terror."

Wednesday

Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) discussed her bipartisan legislation to tackle the high costs of prescription drugs.

Her DRUG Act would "streamline drug price negotiations – lowering costs by improving transparency and reducing administrative burdens."

Thursday

WFW-endorsed Judge Wendy Davis (IN-03) released a new ad about how she'll be an America First conservative if elected to Congress. Her top priority: stopping the flow of illegal immigration and deadly drugs like fentanyl from coming over the border.

Davis is running in a competitive primary on May 7, and you can learn more about her here.
