This April, we're highlighting National Volunteer Week, a time to honor the incredible individuals who fuel The Trevor Project's mission. From offering a listening ear on our Lifeline to fostering safe spaces online, our volunteers embody compassion and dedication, making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth nationwide.

Our latest blog features a candid interview with current Trevor Lifeline volunteer Lisa Sugarman (she/her). As a mom of a bisexual daughter and a newly out member of the pansexual community who has experienced the impact of suicide, she shares what led her to volunteer at Trevor and her firsthand accounts of providing support, hope, and understanding to LGBTQ+ young people in crisis. Lisa’s insights showcase the transformative impact of volunteering with The Trevor Project.

Introducing Our Corporate Ally Network: Championing LGBTQ+ Young People Together

At The Trevor Project, we believe that adult allies play a crucial role in supporting and uplifting LGBTQ+ young people. We are thrilled to announce the pilot launch of a new program at Trevor, our Corporate Ally Network, to encourage a deeper connection to our mission from our passionate Corporate Ally community. Joining us for the inaugural launch to help us build out our programming and impact of the network are some of our long-standing partners across various industries, including CVS Health, PUMA, and United Airlines.
