25 years. 404 school shootings. 370,000 young lives changed forever.

It’s been 25 years since the deadly Columbine shooting that claimed the lives of 12 students and one educator, injured 24, and traumatized thousands.

Since then, an entire generation has been born into a reality where active school shooter drills are part of their everyday curriculum. Kids are taught to “run, hide, fight” before they’re taught to write their names.

Since then, there have been more than 404 school shootings.

Since then, over 370,000 students have experienced gun violence in school.

And since then, gun violence has become the #1 cause of death for kids and young people in America.

From mass shootings to police violence, domestic violence to suicide, we don’t have to live like this.

We are sending love to the victims of Columbine and their families. We will continue to honor them by fighting for a brighter future where no community is shaken by gun violence.

Thank you for fighting alongside us, John.
