Dear john,

On Monday, I joined a letter with Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock and fellow House colleagues from Georgia in pressing top leaders at the United States Postal Service regarding ongoing delays and disruptions to mail delivery in communities across our state. USPS is failing to meet their standards in Georgia, and I continue to hear from people just like you about the disruptions and delays in essential postal services. We are demanding answers from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy about how USPS will work to improve mail efficiencies and delivery times. To read more, click here.

Are you traveling abroad this summer? Do you need to renew your passport? Don't wait until it is too late! My office has a team of caseworkers who can assist you with pending passport renewals. This week, I was proud to share the stories of Caleb and Pamarie, two Lilburn residents who I assisted with urgent passport renewals ahead of their travels. To view their stories, click here or click on the images below. If you need casework assistance for a passport or for any other federal issue, visit mcbath.house.gov/help, or call my office at (470) 773-6330.

Screenshot of two video thumbnails accompanied by quotes. First thumbnail is of Caleb, who says "I couldn't be prouder of my representative in Congress. Rep. McBath's office was there every step of the way, and miraculously secured a passport appointment in Atlanta, just 4 days before my trip.” Second thumbnail is of Pamarie, whose quote reads, "Your office helped a great deal in ensuring the passport was completed and received before the date of travel. Your team was very helpful throughout this entire process! My caseworker was very patient and kind throughout this ordeal.” Hyperlink on this image navigates to a press release from McBath's office about these success stories.

On Friday, I announced that my office is now accepting applications for nominations to U.S. Military Service Academies for the class of 2029. The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. To learn more about the application process, visit my website at mcbath.house.gov/military-academy-nominations.

Thank you for taking the time to read this update. It is my honor to serve our community in Congress. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch with my office.
